[Unsolved] Windows 8 (not 8.1) Microsoft Account 'Sign In Problem'

Hello.

I'm having a problem when Signing In my Microsoft Account on my PC. On the Action Center, it says that I should Sign in with my most recent Microsoft account password (since I actually did changed my password). However when I click Sign In, nothing happens.

See Image for visual: http://i.imgur.com/2Qp7DpO.jpg

Other Notes:
- I've purchased Windows 8 last year, and I noticed this issue just now
- My PC states that my Windows 8 is activated
- I also can't see the 'Personalization' on the Registry Editor/regedit to change my Lock/Log-In Screen
- Nothing happens whenever I click Change PC Settings

Does anyone know how to deal with this?

you can also try to turn off and on user account control in security tab inside action center

Hi,

Please try the following method to resolve this problem for test:

Just go to "Control Panel\User Accounts and Family Safety\Credential Manager" and:
Select "Windows Credentials"
Go down to "Generic Credentials" and select "MicrosoftAccount:user=<user_name>" (where <user_name> should be your user name);
Click "Edit";
Change the password and press "Save";
